Pancha Bhoota Sthalam refers to five temples dedicated to Shiva, each representing a manifestation of the five prime elements of nature: earth, water, fire, air, and space. Pancha indicates “five,” bhoota means “elements,” and sthala means “place.” the temples are located in south India, The five elements are believed to be enshrined in the five lingams of the temples, with each lingam named based on the element represented.

After breakfast we will leave for Tirupati (approx. 140km) via surface. After arriving we will check-in to the hotel, Later we will visit one of the most powerful temples in India the Tirupati Balaji Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu who is worshiped in the form of Venkateshwara and is presiding deity at the Tirumala temple complex.
After breakfast we will visit one of the five element temples known as Srikalahasteeswara Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is represents the element wind or Vayu. Rest of the evening is free for leisure.
Today after breakfast we will head towards Kanchipuram (approx. 110km) upon arrival check-in to the hotel. Later we will visit another five element temples known as Ekambareswarar Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is associated with the element Earth or Prithvi. In the evening we will explore the local markets which are famous for their silk Sarees.
After breakfast we will proceed for Tiruvannamalai (approx. 160 km) when we arrive check-in to hotel, in evening we will visit the visit the Annamalaiyar Temple, which is dedicated to Agni the five element, here we will perform rituals and take blessings from Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Today morning we will take a small hike for the Arunachala Hill and visit the Ramana Maharishi cave and later his ashram – he was one of India’s greatest saints from the last century. In evening we will explore the local and colorful markets.
Today after breakfast we will proceed for Tiruchirappalli (approx. 160km) via surface. Upon arrival check in to the hotel, in the evening we will visit another five element temple known as Jambukeshwarar Temple which represents the element Water or Neer. The sanctum has an underground water stream and it is always filled with water. Later we will return to hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast we will head to Madurai (approx. 180km), upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later in evening we will visit the Meenakshi Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to Meenakshi a form of Parvati and her consort Sundareshwar a form of Shiva. Rest of the evening is free for leisure.
After breakfast we will leave for Rameswaram (approx. 170 km), which is the place where the three oceans meet Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. In the Ramayana, Lord Rama came here after defeating Ravana. After check-in to our hotel, we will visit the Rameswaram Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and offer prayer & rituals.
After breakfast, we will proceed for Chettinad (approx. 160km) via visiting Pillayarpatti temple – one of the ancient lord Ganesh temples. Today our lodging will be at the unique and historic palace of the Chettinad royal family. In the evening we will visit ancient Shanmughanathar Temple which dedicated to Lord Kartikeya & later on we visit Karpaka Vinayakar Temple dedicated to lord Ganesha.
After breakfast, we will take a beautiful bus ride through rural Tamil Nadu, to Kumbakonam (approx. 140km), ‘The City of Temples’. In the evening we will go to Thanjavur to visit the Brihadisvara Temple, it is also one of the largest temples in South India. Later return to hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast we will leave for Puducherry (approx. 140km) via visiting the Nataraja Temple in Chidambaram, it is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva who is present in the form or Nataraja or the lord of dance. The temple is
also one of the five element temples and represents Space. Later continue or journey to Puducherry. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast we will head towards Mahabalipuram via surface (approx. 100 km) and today our lodging will be at a resort near the ocean and here you can relax or walk around the beautiful beach.
In morning, you will be transferred to Chennai airport (approx. 60km) to board flight for onward destination…
