Travel to India by James Kelleher

Post Pandemic Spiritual Travel

Dating back to During the pandemic, I have repeatedly said that international travel would begin to return during Jupiter’s transit of Pisces, from April of 2022 to April of 2023. That trend is clearly happening. More and more people are feeling comfortable flying on planes and more countries are relaxing travel restrictions. In spite of the Omicron surge, more people in the world are planning trips to a variety of places. I have recently talked to many clients who are travelling to a variety of international destinations. Perhaps the best barometer for international travel is the travel industry in India. Yesterday I spoke to my friend Rajiv Tomar, in Delhi. Rajiv and I have been partners in taking groups to India for more than 20 years. In my opinion, he is the best travel guy in India. He runs a company called Mystical Journeys and he specializes in trips that go to all of the interesting spots that average tourists never get to see. After the World Trade Center was attacked in 2001, Travel in India was non existent for quite a while. Then after about 18 months, things started to come back. Rajiv started to book more groups and once again, people were flocking to India. The return of travel to India seemed to accurately reflect how people were no longer traumatized by the 911 attack. It was a clear sign that life was returning to normal. Similarly, during the pandemic, travel to India also hit rock bottom, and business has been slow to non-existent for Rajiv. But now all that is changing. Once again, Rajiv is booking trips. In fact, he is booked solid for the next few months and beginning to book for next year. In my 2020 World Predictions presentation I said that it would take us until August of 2022 to get our collective heads around the pandemic. The virus is not going away, but life goes on and we adapt. Although not everyone is comfortable travelling to foreign countries, and many people are still wearing masks in public places, and Omicron is currently surging in many places, the majority of people are still getting on with their lives. Saturn’s transit into Aquarius in January of 2003 might also produce another phase transition in this direction. In any case, new variants of the Coronavirus come and go, but we are constantly seeing signs of improvement in terms of our ability to live our lives without fear. Every now and then there is a little phase transition as we get another bump up to a higher level of adaptation. Astrology can help us identify those junction points. The willingness of people to travel to India and other international destinations is a major clue that we have arrived at one of those phase transition points.
