As part of our Trans-Himalayan expedition, we go through an undiscovered and uncharted road to view the enchanting province of Himachal. This recently developed path leads us across the breathtaking Spiti Valley. In order to navigate this treacherous terrain, 4X4 utility vehicles are used on this journey. One of the chilly, desolate mountain valleys, Spiti Valley is situated in Himachal Pradesh’s northeastern region at the summit of the Himalayas. Spiti’s original meaning of “the midway land” referred to the region situated halfway between Tibet and India, with monasteries, high altitude settlements, and stunning lakes spread throughout the journey.
