About this journey

Ramayana Trails of India

Ramayana Trails of India is more than a pilgrimage—it is a sacred journey through the timeless landscapes of one of India's greatest spiritual epics. Following the footsteps of Lord Rama, Sita, Hanuman, and the sacred traditions connected with the Ramayana, this yatra unfolds across ancient temple towns, river ghats, forests, Jyotirlinga shrines, and spiritually charged landscapes spread across India.

Beginning at the birthplace of Lord Rama in Ayodhya, the journey gradually flows through the sacred Triveni Sangam of Prayagraj, the forest landscapes of Chitrakoot, the Ramayana sites of Nashik, and the powerful Jyotirlinga traditions of Trimbakeshwar and Grishneshwar.

The pilgrimage further continues into the sacred Shaiva traditions of Srisailam, the mystical Ramayana landscapes of Hampi and Kishkindha associated with Hanuman and the Vanara kingdom, and finally towards the deeply devotional shores of Rameshwaram, where Lord Rama worshipped Shiva before crossing towards Lanka.
